Most of William Hill’s marketing efforts lean on sports partnerships, including the Scottish Professional Football League and the William Hill Sports Book of the Year. These deals keep the brand in the public eye, but they don’t do much to promote the casino. It’s easy to forget William Hill even has one if you’re not already looking for it.

The responsible gambling section is well-equipped but could be clearer. Instead of breaking down features on the main page, the site provides links to separate sections, not ideal for a quick look-up. That said, they have all the necessary responsible gambling features such as deposit limits, session reminders, time-outs, and self-exclusion. The description for these tools is also too dry, like two bullet points at most, wish they had proper guides.

William Hill also has external gambling support resources beyond these tools, like list of bank services that offer gambling transaction blocks on cards or filters that can limit social media ads about gambling.

William Hill is a long-standing, fully licensed casino that meets regulatory standards, but a better layout for responsible gambling tools and added 2FA would make it even stronger.

William Hill site is functional but visually dull. The design has too much white and we would like to see some more contrast. As a result, some areas feel empty, especially on wider screens. We think they could have used the space better to make things feel less stretched out.

The top menu lets you switch between Sports, William Hill Vegas (this is in fact Casino), Live Casino, Bingo, and Poker. At the very right of it, you can find the search bar, deposit button, and balance display. The left sidebar handles most of the casino navigation, with categories for different games, links to promotions, and a “You Might Be Interested” section but nothing else.

All the key links are located in the footer, we are talking about support, responsible gambling tools, terms etc. Would be nice to have them on the sidebar too, again here we have that empty space misuse problem backfire.

I gave Plinball a shot since I have never tried or even seen this game, but it turned out to be just Plinko. I liked that it highlights the space it’s above as it’s falling down and that you can send down multiple balls at once. I was then presented with a menu of options which you must navigate through, if he can’t answer the question he’ll ask you to clarify which he did in my case. Once he receives your question he asks for your account details, if you don’t have any you’ll be connected straight to an agent. Once I connected, the agent asked me for my account details again, which didn’t seem too efficient. I then asked about withdrawal fees, wagering requirements, and if support was available 24/7.

I also checked if William Hill had phone or email support, even though I already knew the answer (they don’t). The agent responded quickly within 1-3 minutes, but the responses were fairly short, not very personable but often provided the info that I needed.

Final Thoughts

William Hill might be one of the most famous names in UK betting, and its bookie origins still shape much of what the site offers. Still, there are fewer than 1,000 games, and while they are high quality, such lack of variety is pretty jading. It has the simplest search tools, and there’s no way to filter by provider. We also tested the bonuses and found one of the welcome deals stood out thanks to its 0x wagering, but the rest of the promotions didn’t leave much of an impression.

Overall, William Hill Casino is not a bad casino. It may as well suit your needs as long as your focus isn’t on chasing the biggest casino library. We suggest having a look and weighing what matters most to you.

man this was a joke. i tried cashin out two withdrawals of £500 each and ended up waitin over 3 weeks... for nothing. william hill says "3-5 biz days" lol more like 25 days and ghostin me on live chat, email, even twitter. i used to trust em but this was the last straw.
