There aren’t many UK casinos that build their entire identity around mobile play, or at least attempt to do so. The Phone Casino does just that – and it leaves you with particular expectations. If you’ve been curious about what sets it apart from more mainstream names, this review should help you figure out if it’s worth your time.
The Phone Casino has been operating under Small Screen Casinos Ltd since the early 2010s, built with a mobile-first mindset. The company itself has been licensed in the UK since 2006, giving it one of the longer uninterrupted runs among smaller operators.
Compared to full-service casinos with hundreds of partnerships and rotating offers, The Phone Casino operates on a smaller scale. It also shares a layout and a lot of its features with its sister sites, nothing too unique of its own.

About the Company Behind Phone Casino
Legally, they have everything sorted. There have been no fines, no licence breaches, and no red flags from regulators.
The Phone Casino has a visual style that uses colour more which helps it stand apart from the usual grey-heavy layout.
That said, the colour combination feels mismatched and a bit rough around the edges. Space isn’t utilised the best way here, large margins sit unused while key content huddles in the centre.
Some of the visual decisions might not be great for all players too. When you open the banking section for one, the entire page shifts to the left. And when you open the menu, the main screen gets folded out.
When I first opened the site I was met by a spinning icon which wouldn’t disappear. This issue was resolved when disabling my ad blocker, it must’ve been an issue with cookies.

Despite the minimalistic structure, useful links are scattered across the page instead. Important sections like promotions or support sit near the bottom or inside side panels, which means extra scrolling.
Sign up was rather easy, you just need to fill 2 pages. I didn’t like that registration is on a screen on the right-hand side, it looks better when it’s in the middle of the screen.
I also couldn’t set my password during sign up. Turns out it’s automatically set to the last four digits of your mobile number and you can change it when you login.
This one is also among the only site’s I’ve seen where you log in with your phone number rather than a username or email address.
I also wasn’t a fan that you had to accept the marketing preferences to create your account. To be fair, you can change that after but the aftertaste remains.

The site delivers what it promises, but it is quite clunky due to questionable design choices.
It’s strange to see a casino that puts such a strong focus on phones skip having a proper app. We checked both Android and iOS stores, but nothing came up. Instead, the only option is using your browser.
I opened the site through Chrome and signed in without trouble, though the homepage didn’t leave a great first feeling.
The layout felt messy. Elements sat unevenly on the screen, and some menus didn’t quite line up. It gave the whole site an unfinished look. Loading between sections was even slower than on desktop, simple actions like going from the main page to the account tab took a noticeable few seconds longer than necessary.
Surprisingly, games held up better than the rest. They launched quickly and played without stutters. I didn’t run into any technical issues while trying a few titles, which made the contrast with the rest of the interface more noticeable. The performance deserved a better frame than the one it had.

The site runs well once you’re in a game, but everything around it feels clunky and underdesigned.
There’s a lot to unpack here. The Phone Casino pushes past expectations when it comes to its game library – more than 3,200 titles. That said, the deposit system is beginner-friendly, with a minimum top-up of just £3 for card users. Withdrawals, however, aren’t as welcoming.
The advertised no deposit bonus is just access to a public slot tournament, not actual spins. There’s also not many deals for an average user. No live chat is also a major letdown. We’d say this one’s for those who care more about a deep game library and basic casino things. If that’s what matters to you, it might be worth a closer look.
