Behind the velvet ropes of London’s most iconic venue lies a digital twin with its own bag of tricks. The Vic brings a storied name online, but reputation alone doesn’t run the whole show. In this The Vic Casino review, our team looked past the appearance to see what really happens beyond the login.
The Vic Casino went online in 2021 under Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, the same group behind Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor casinos. It’s built as an online extension of the London-based Grosvenor Victoria Casino. From the very launch, it came with more depth than most newcomers. There’s a loyalty scheme, a venue connection, and a decent selection of promotions.
We noticed that the interface doesn’t try to stand out visually, but it does carry small extras that make a difference. The Vic links more directly to the real venue: booking options, poker room updates, and cross-promotion with the physical club are all part of the setup. That might not matter to every online user, but it does give the site a grounded feel.

About Vic Casino Company
So far, the brand hasn’t been tied to any scandals, blacklists, or player complaints. The casino runs on a steady update cycle, and there’s no issues behind the scenes.
The Vic Casino looks more refined than most UK online casinos we’ve seen lately. The black and dark blue theme with gold accents sets a clean tone right away. The top menu takes you straight to Slots, Casino, Jackpots, Slingo, and Promotions. You can also access a dedicated venue tab that links out to the real-life Grosvenor Victoria Casino from there.
It’s well-ordered, though it borrows a lot from its sister sites under Rank Interactive. We noticed a large banner with welcome deals near the top, but it didn’t interrupt browsing. A tweak could be made to the size of the featured game thumbnails; they’re too big and take up room that could go toward more useful links or tools.
The same could be said about the blank edges, those are a bit of a waste of space, they could be made smaller so they don’t take up so much room.
The connection was a bit laggy, especially when switching between pages. That said, every key link is properly labelled, and the layout keeps all major site areas within reach. The support section and safer gambling info are located at the bottom in a separate section, which is easy to spot.
Creating my account only took me two screens. First, I filled in my email and picked a username and password. The second part asked for my name, address, date of birth, and phone number. After that, I was logged in and able to grab the welcome deal without being bounced between extra pages.

The Vic has a dedicated mobile app for Android and iOS, which gives players an easy way to access the site on the go. You can also use the mobile browser version if you’d rather not install anything. Both options load fast and give you access to the full game lobby, though some rough edges are noticeable after a bit of time spent on either.
I installed the Android app myself, and it took around fifteen seconds to get it up and running. You need to type “The Vic Casino” in full to find it; just ‘The Vic’ doesn’t bring it up straight away. Once installed, the app opened quickly and allowed me to log in using my saved credentials, which helped.
The main lobby looks similar to the website, and almost everything loads in under a second. It’s functional, but could use some polish. The category bar gets cluttered easily, and the search icon overlaps it, making tapping awkward. There’s a menu with more navigation tools, but you can only reach it by tapping your account name in the corner. Adding a bottom bar or tabbed menu could help a lot.
Game performance on the app was solid. Most games loaded faster than they did on desktop, and there were no issues with visuals or sound.

The app has a public rating of 2.8 stars on the Android store, which reflects some of the same concerns we had.
The Vic online casino gets a few key things right. It has more than 1,800 games split into clearly labelled categories, but for a casino connected to a real-world venue with a famous name, we expected more. The game library could use better organisation, and more filters would certainly help. The bonus section has just a welcome deal and nothing really valuable after that. Payment options are limited to four methods only, though we like the £5 minimum deposits. The Vic leaves just too much on the table. It’s not a bad casino, but certain areas are hard to overlook.
Here’s a quick look at what worked well for us, and what didn’t.
