Site Usability Overview

Kitty Bingo online’s design is pretty decent. The white and pink theme gives it a light look, but the layout itself is nothing new. We normally aren’t the biggest light theme fans, but in this case, the white and pink colour scheme worked well.

The top menu lays out bingo, slots, new games, Slingo, table games, jackpots, promotions, and support, while the homepage runs through the usual welcome deal and featured games. The game sections are well-organised, though there are some odd choices in our opinion. Table games are stuck under the slots category, which doesn’t make much sense.

The bottom of the page holds quick links to key sections, with safer gambling tools highlighted – one of the better design decisions. A FAQ/About section pops up on certain pages, which helps, but it’s rather bulky and takes up too much space for what we’d prefer.

The biggest issue for us is performance. We struggled with a lot of lag when moving between sections, and at times, the homepage took over 30 seconds to load. Made us quite frustrated.

The sign up process at Kitty Bingo is quick and simple. You have to fill in just two pages, everything is simple to understand. The site attempts to verify accounts automatically during registration, but it didn’t go through for me. I received an email later requesting additional documents to complete verification. While not an issue, I would have preferred to be warned right during the registration rather than afterwards.

Kitty Bingo only allows four payment methods. For a casino of this size, we expected more than debit cards and just a few eWallets, this feels like a bare minimum. Pretty disappointing. You can change your mind at any time.

We’ve spent some time testing Kitty Bingo’s game library, and to be honest, we have mixed feelings.

The game selection is huge on here – over 2,900 games from more than 15 providers, with slots dominating the lineup. There’s a lot to go through, from popular slot machines and jackpot games to a decent offering of table games. The variety is great, but we were disappointed to find that bingo doesn’t actually take centre stage, despite the casino’s name. For a bingo-focused site, it doesn’t feel like the main attraction, and that’s a little off-putting.

The site’s layout is a bit of a mess. We were surprised to see that table games and live casino games are all grouped under the “Slots” tab. You’d expect them to have their own separate category “Casino”. They also don’t show all the games they have at times. For example, the “Table Games” category only lists a handful of games, but if you search “Blackjack”, it pulls up way more options. This was confusing, to say the least. There is also no dedicated “Live Casino” category, the only browsable games are under Game Shows, but that doesn’t show all of the available options.

We really didn’t like the absence of a provider filter or game-type filter. The site baited us into thinking there are, but you only can sort games alphabetically, that’s about it. As for performance, we didn’t run into any major issues with gameplay. Games loaded slowly at times, but there was no lag during the gameplay itself.

Jackpot games have their prizes displayed from the home page, allowing you to browse for the biggest payouts without having to load each game. What’s more, each game has a detailed info page with RTP, paylines, betting limits, and features. However, there’s no demo mode, which would have been nice for game testing, a bit of a letdown.

Cashing out at Kitty Bingo is pretty quick, but the options are disappointingly limited. You only get three choices – PayPal, Bank Transfer, and Paysafe. That’s not much, especially compared to other sites that offer eWallets like Skrill or Neteller. The minimum withdrawal is £5, which is again, amazing, and there are no fees, so they have credit for that.

To withdraw, you have to go through a few menus – click your balance, open the Cashier, then select Withdraw. It’s not a huge problem, but it is clunky. Worse, the balance is displayed in USD instead of GBP, which makes no sense for a UK-based site. The minimum and maximum limits aren’t even visible until you start typing, no need to hide them.

Once the request goes through, the process is fast, you can expect your withdrawal within four hours or less, not a bad speed.

I managed to cash out in less than 30 seconds using Visa, very fast. Also glad they have card/e-wallet/pre-paid card options, but I’d expect to see more options for each payment type.

Account Verification

The site will verify new accounts at sign-up, but some may still have to go through additional KYC checks. If you don’t complete the process at the first time of asking, you’ll receive an email with a link to the verification portal. The process requires you to scan a QR code and submit documents via a mobile device. It happened that I needed some additional verification. I scanned my QR code with ease and completed the verification. It was easy overall, but I experienced some lag during file upload, the first picture took me around 60 seconds to finally upload. Kitty Bingo support can be accessed through Live chat and phone, a FAQ section is also available. Options are decent, but there’s no email support, which is strange, at least the rest of the methods are easy to access.

The FAQ section has a great layout; there are multiple topic tabs at the top of the page and multiple questions related to each topic below it. We counted around 30–40 questions in total, not too shabby. The answers aren’t particularly detailed though, yes they offer the basic info that you’re looking for but don’t offer comprehensive responses.

Phone support runs Monday to Saturday between 10am and 6pm, you have two contact number options: 0800 279 3221 (Freephone) and 0203 544 6725 (Landline).

If you need help outside the phone hours, your only option is live chat even then it’s not operated 24/7, it’s available during better hours than phone though: 7am–22:30 pm.

I clicked on the pink chat icon, entered my name/email and was instantly presented with a menu tree, so I could narrow down my issue. Once I went past the menu I was asked to describe the problem. I wanted to ask about the mobile app for iOS devices, does it exist, if there are any cashout fees and how often withdrawals are processed. As a final step, it asked me for my email address again, quite inefficient.

Once I finally got through, responses took about three to five minutes. The agent was polite but gave rushed answers, so I had to ask for follow-ups. The agent confirmed all I wanted to know in the end, just wish they were more informative about it.
