Age of Asgard builds its entire feature set around one mechanic. Here are two large Wild symbols, one for the gods and one for the monsters, that nudge, lock, clash, and chain.

Each Wild is 1×3 and appears on the three middle reels. If it partially lands, it nudges to fill the reel – locking sticky and triggering a Respin. Completely locking extends the chain. Filling every reel position with sticky Wilds awards the Ragnarok Big Win: a 960x stake in the base game and 1,200x during free spins.

When both grids show a full Wild on the same reel at the same time, the Clash feature is triggered. The two Wilds collide and scatter 2-4 smaller 1×1 Wilds across the reels. Any small Wild that lands on a stacked high-value symbol turns the entire stack into a Wild.

Three Scatters on the top or bottom grid trigger free spins (10 spins). Both grids merge into a single 5×6 grid with 50 paylines. Only symbols from the initiative grid appear. Wilds expand to 1×6. Respin and Clash remain active throughout.

Three Scatters on both grids simultaneously trigger Ragnarok Free Spins (20 spins) – the same merged 5×6 grid, but all low-value symbols are removed. Only six-value symbols and Wilds appear, and the 1×6 Wild always shifts to fill its reel when partially landed.

Landing three Scatters on one grid and two on the other activates the Randomiser – a wheel that awards either 50x your stake, 10 standard free spins, or an upgrade to Ragnarok Free Spins.

While most slots offer one set of reels, Age of Asgard offers two. Each operates independently. Five reels, three rows, and 20 fixed paylines, for a total of 40 paylines during the base game. Both combine into one, six rows with 50 paylines, when the free spins are triggered. Three or more matching symbols from left to right form a win.

The respins kept the momentum going. And every 15-20 spins, a Wild would appear, lock in and start the reels again. I only got a hit once, but it was worth the wait. There were small Wilds scattered, one landed on a stacked symbol, and that one spin exceeded my previous ten combined. That was the moment I would call proof of what this slot can deliver. I never got Ragnarok in one go. I just couldn’t get six Scatters in one go, but I did trigger the standard free spins twice (one paid 6x, the other barely came to zero). My best chance on Ragnarok was through the Randomiser, which gave me a 50x cash prize instead of a boost. Honestly, this wheel feels like a real entry.
